GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These General Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations of JOiO, s.r.o., with its registered office at Stupava 5574, 90031 Stupava, Company ID: 52624960, Tax ID: 2121129252, VAT ID: SK2121129252, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, Section: Sro, File No. 141542/B, VAT payer (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”) and our customers arising from the contractual relationship established by the concluded purchase contract.

Basic Definitions
For the purposes of these General Terms and Conditions, the following basic definitions apply.
The Seller is JOiO, s.r.o., which operates the online store. Its business activity is the sale of goods through the online store located at www.bububu.sk.
The Customer is the Buyer who enters into a contractual relationship with the Seller based on a purchase contract.

Registration
We declare that personal data are used exclusively for identification purposes and for processing orders within JOiO, s.r.o. and will not be provided to third parties or otherwise misused.
By confirming registration, the Buyer agrees to receive commercial and marketing emails from the online store www.bububu.sk.
Consent to receive commercial communications may be withdrawn at any time.
The newsletter subscription service may be cancelled at any time via the link included in the email or by contacting bububu@bububu.sk.
Orders can also be placed without registration.

Order Acceptance and Processing, Purchase Contract
The Buyer’s order is considered a proposal for concluding a purchase contract.
The automatic order confirmation sent to the Buyer immediately after placing the order serves solely as confirmation that the order has been received by the Seller’s system and does not constitute acceptance of the proposal to conclude a purchase contract.
The purchase contract between the Buyer and the Seller is concluded only upon dispatch of the ordered goods by the Seller.
By concluding the purchase contract, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these General Terms and Conditions, including the complaint procedure.
The Seller reserves the right not to accept or to cancel an order or part thereof, particularly in cases where the goods are no longer manufactured or supplied, there is an obvious technical error on the online store, an obviously incorrect product price is displayed, there is suspicion of fraudulent activity, misuse of discounts, gift vouchers or marketing promotions, or repeated failure to collect shipments.
Should any of the above situations occur, the Seller will immediately contact the Buyer to agree on further steps. If the Buyer has already paid part or all of the order amount, the amount will be refunded using the same payment method used for payment, unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
The Seller reserves the right to verify an order by telephone or email in justified cases.
All orders received through the online store are binding. The Buyer may cancel the order until it is dispatched.
If the Buyer repeatedly fails to accept ordered shipments without prior withdrawal from the contract or cancellation of the order, the Seller reserves the right to claim compensation for demonstrably incurred costs associated with unsuccessful delivery.
The Buyer is automatically informed about receipt of the order by email.
Availability information is provided for each product. If a product is not in stock or not available from the supplier, the Seller will immediately inform the Buyer of the expected delivery date.
If the Buyer is unable to accept delivery for any reason, they are obliged to inform the Seller without delay by telephone or email.
Order cancellation may be sent by email. The cancellation must include the Buyer’s name, email address and order number.

Delivery Terms, Pricing and Payment Terms
Product Prices and Shipping Costs
Product prices include VAT and all other charges, except for delivery costs, which are charged separately according to the selected delivery method.
Shipping costs are added to product prices based on the delivery method and destination address. Delivery costs are displayed before the order is completed. Current shipping prices can also be viewed HERE.
We also ship goods to EU countries. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the ordered goods and the destination country. For a shipping quotation, please contact us at bububu@bububu.sk.
Price Changes
The Seller reserves the right to change prices. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Payment Methods
The Buyer may pay for goods using the following methods:
• Online card payment
• Bank transfer
• Cash on delivery

In the case of payment by bank transfer, the order must be paid within 12 hours.
If payment is not credited to our account within 48 hours (on business days) from placing the order, the order will be automatically cancelled.

Delivery of Goods
The Seller shall deliver the goods to the address specified by the Buyer in the order.
Delivery costs are borne by the Buyer unless stated otherwise.
The Customer is informed by email when the order is dispatched.
The Seller is not responsible for delayed delivery caused by an incorrectly provided delivery address.

Delivery and Complaint Conditions
If the recipient is unavailable, the courier company will send information about the unsuccessful delivery attempt by email or SMS and the recipient may request redelivery.
If the parcel is visibly damaged or the protective tape has been broken, please submit a complaint directly to the carrier. The Seller is not liable for damage caused during transport.
The risk of damage to the goods passes to the Buyer upon receipt of the shipment from the carrier.
The Seller is not responsible for delayed or impossible delivery caused by an incorrectly provided address or obstacles on the Buyer’s side.

Withdrawal from the Contract (Returns)
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
If the Buyer decides to withdraw from the contract, they are obliged to return the goods undamaged, complete and without signs of use. The goods must be sent to:

The Buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal via the “My Order” page, in writing, or by email to bububu@bububu.sk.
When using the “My Order” page, the Buyer enters the order number and the email address used when placing the order and submits a return request. Further instructions for returning the goods will then be sent to the Buyer.
When exercising withdrawal by email or in writing, the Buyer must provide the order number, purchase date and bank account number for the refund.

In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the Buyer will be refunded the purchase price of the goods, including the lowest delivery costs charged at the time of purchase. The Buyer bears the costs of returning the goods.
In the case of marketing promotions or discounts linked to the purchase of multiple items, multiple pairs of shoes or meeting a minimum order value, entitlement to the discount exists only if the conditions of the promotion are fulfilled.
If, after a partial withdrawal from the contract or return of part of the goods, the Buyer no longer meets the conditions of the promotional discount, the Seller is entitled to adjust the granted discount proportionally and the refunded amount will be recalculated accordingly in the credit note.

The right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days applies exclusively to consumers – natural persons acting outside the scope of their business activity or profession.
Purchases made in the name of a company (using a Company ID or VAT number) are considered business-to-business (B2B) transactions, to which this right does not apply. In such cases, goods cannot be returned without stating a reason.
The right to withdraw from the contract under applicable consumer protection legislation applies only to consumers from EU Member States.
Buyers from countries outside the EU are not guaranteed this right under Slovak law.

Complaints and Warranty
Complaints may only be submitted for goods purchased from the Seller and must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
The complaint procedure covers manufacturing defects that appear within 24 months from receipt of the goods.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper handling, mechanical damage or normal wear and tear.
In the event of a complaint, contact the Seller by email at bububu@bububu.sk with a description of the defect and attach photographs showing the damage.
The Seller will inform the Buyer about the next steps in the complaint process.

Complaints will be processed no later than 30 days from the date of receipt.

Personal Data Protection
The Seller processes Buyers’ personal data to the extent necessary for order processing, compliance with legal obligations, and the provision of related services. Detailed information on the processing of personal data is available in the separate Privacy Policy (GDPR) document.
The Buyer has the right to request deletion of their data from the database at any time.
These data are protected in accordance with personal data protection legislation.
Personal data are processed in accordance with applicable legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
The Buyer has the right to request the deletion of their personal data, provided that further processing is not required for the Seller to comply with legal obligations.
Personal data are retained only for the period necessary to fulfil contractual obligations or as required by law.

Final Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions are valid from 24 October 2025 and the Seller reserves the right to amend them at any time.
For each order, the terms and conditions valid at the time the order is placed shall apply.
The Consumer has the right to submit a complaint to the Seller via email at bububu@bububu.sk, where the Seller will attempt to resolve the issue.
If the complaint cannot be resolved directly, the Consumer has the right to contact an alternative dispute resolution body under Act No. 391/2015 Coll.
